Jim in school

Jim Morrison moved around a lot with his family when he was young, he was born into a military family, his father was an Admiral. Jim developed a rebellious and outgoing personality early in life but he always did well in school. He found inspiration in the philosophies and unconventional fiction of authors such as Friedrich Nietzsche, Arthur Rimbaud and James Joyce, and he became a poet himself. After high school Morrison spent two years studying theater and philosophy at Florida State University, he was a straigh A student but his behavior was worse, sometimes he showed up drunk in school. He listened a lot to rock and blues and Elvis Presley was his favorite singer. After one semester his roommates wanted him to move out of cause they got tired of Jim playing loud music all the time and because of his rowdy behavior. He decided that he wanted to attend UCLA and hitchhiked to L.A.
Some of his old classmates from High School decribes Jim as "quiet and shy"
